Edward H. Garrett Jr., MD, attended Vanderbilt School of Medicine in Nashville, Tennessee, and received his medical degree in 1979. Furthermore, he conducted his residency in general and cardiothoracic surgery at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, KY. In addition, he completed his vascular surgery training at the University of Tennessee in Memphis, TN. In addition, Dr. Garrett Jr. received board certification in general surgery and vascular surgery from the American Board of Surgery and is board-certified in cardiothoracic surgery with the American Board of Thoracic Surgery.
